Great story!

Loved the story but still not happy with the narrator but have listen to all her books of dark except the last one which I'm just not going to get her narration is just too annoying!
The story itself is very good and hopefully she will continue the dark series but please use a different narrator her voice would be better suited for maybe younger or teen books. She just makes her female characters sound whiney all of them !

Section Missing

There is a section missing in the early chapters. I guess I’ll just have to guess what was missed. Good luck!

Love this series!

I am a great fan of Ms. Wright's books. This book was a good addition to her Dark in You series. I did have a problem with the editing, because there were a few repeat sentences in the dialogue. A little distracting but still a good story.

Wow! What a story..

There is a lot of action going on in this story..Harper is pregnant, we have to find the other horseman, and Carla is still around.

All in all, the story evolves very nicely and were set up to find out who the third horseman is and hopefully it will lead us to the next. Harper and Knox come together as a team to fight their common foe, but with Harper being pregnant, Knox is hanging on by a thread for control over himself and his mate.

Loved the story and the action. I’m ready to see if my thoughts of the 4th horseman is accurate.

Loving this series!!

Finished Ashes (book 3) and really loved it!! I've already started Embers (book 4) but I'm sad there is only 1 more after this. I do love a good alpha romance but combined with an alpha female makes it even better! The passion between Harper and Knox jumps right off the pages, thank you Suzanne Wright. She has a way to draw me into the story, like I'm there with the characters seeing what they see, do, feel, and experience. There are some amazingly hot sex scenes and swearing, none of which I found offensive. This book like the others in the series, has kept me hooked with its passionate love story, clever characters, interesting plot and funny family dynamics. I feel like the author has introduced us to so many interesting characters throughout the series that she could write many more books, hopefully. I really want to know more about Harper, her family, and friends.
I feel the narrator did a good job.

Fantastic series!

This is book number three and I'm re-reading all of them; getting ready for the release of book number five. I've read the series several times before and I may be a little slow on the uptake, but I really feel that these books could be easily adapted for a TV series. I was a big fan of True Blood and HBO would be a great venue for all of these characters. I'll keep my fingers crossed and see what happens!

Boring. Repetitious , did I say boring

Three quarters of the book was a repeat of the 2 previous books. Harper getting kidnap was predictable.

I agree with the other reviewers

I did enjoy the third book, in this series. It's nice to have all three books focus on the same relationship instead of their being a new couple every book. It allows you to get to know the characters better. It also allows the author to get to the meat of the story, faster, since time introducing the characters, to the reader, isn't necessary. That being said, as I was reading other reviews, comments were made about the author wasting too much time reminding readers of events in the previous books. I realize the author was trying to make sure that anyone that started reading this series, with this book, would know whys and what fors, but for those of us that had read the previous books, it became minaughtness.

Really great

A really great series & great narrator, I just wish the last book was part of the romance package as well but they always leave one book out of every series
