Motivating and informational

Miriam is very energetic and full of life. It took me a little bit to get used to her peppiness, but it was worth it. She seems genuinely excited for us artists to be successful. Miriam shared her knowledge of running an art business in great detail; so get ready to take notes! This book is full of great tips and tricks to selling your art and making money. Overall, I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I really liked it, but it was a little heavy on tricks to being a good sales person and how to close a sale. All very good information; a lot of those tatics just aren't for me. But again, it's still very helpful and valuable ways to get and keep customers. I still learned a lot from her. If I ever were to get into the more "salesman approach," I thought her tactics were smart and not overly manipulative like most sales people.
I enjoyed the book and was inspired to get my mind and actions on the same page. There were also many ideas that are just good life lessons everyone could use. I loved that she gave tons of examples of what she was talking about.
Great book. I'm glad I listened to it.

So awesome I read it twice

So many great insights and ideas in this book. The examples of how she figured out her 5 passion to profit framework were very insightful. I have those five frameworks written on a board next to my easel. Awesome resource!

Simple yet comprehensive

Miriam Shulman has a great way of delivering real, tangible strategies with simple easy to implement steps. I feel like I have a solid grip on the action steps I need to take to start seeing my art career & business gain traction. I love how she interjected stories right from the start - it made it human, and that brought it home for me.

Excellent and supportive resource

I purchased the audio version first. Part way through I realized I wanted the book so I could physically mark it up and tag it etc. I know you can do that here, but I wanted a physical copy. And now I have both! Not only that, it was so good I signed up to get more in depth coaching because I know me and sitting on the "I want it" bench is where I had been long enough. I wanted to accelerate the learning and be in a community of like minded people. I have no disappointment and am well on my way, but a self starter could take this book and make it happen using the steps she outlined.

I highly recommend either or both the audio and the book. The fun thing with the audio is that you get to hear Miriam, the author, speak her words with her own conviction. That is quite compelling.

I learned so many valuable tips, almost thought I wasn’t going to like it when the author got into politics - but so glad I stuck with it. Cheers

I have read so many marketing books and mostly were so basic and outdated common sense but Miriam’s book stares you in the face to dare you to think and behave differently. It’s not about busy work— it authentically makes you do better because of who you are as an artist. ❤️❤️
