An Excellent Guide to the Mental Health Industry

My sister has psychosis, depression, and anxiety. It's been difficult to help her because I've had no idea what to expect from the mental health industry. This book changed all that. I now know the difference between a phychiatrist and a psychologist, among many other professionals. I have also learned more about warning signs and how to support those who are struggling. Most of all, I've learned that mental health issues affect everyone and there's no shame in needing your own help (even if you aren't struggling with a diagnosable mental illness).

This is a fantastic book. I would highly recommend everyone read this, even if you don't know anyone who has a mental illness.

Highly recommend it♥️

Being raised by old school Mexican parents and me having old school Mexican tendencies. I never believed in anxiety or panic attacks. Until one day my depression got really bad I was drinking a Starbucks drink that day. I felt really weird. It triggered my vertigo which gave me really bad anxiety. I thought the drink caused it. I thought I was being drugged. My husband told me I was having a panic attack. He hold me and calmed me. Due to my food disorder I haven’t had that drink again. I don’t like to stress my husband about my depression and my weird crazy food disorder. I’m still trying to figure it out. I don’t really have friends to talk about it and I’ve been figuring it out on my own... do I even need help or what kind of therapist do I need and this book has been very helpful for me.

I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn’t know where to start they’re healing journey♥️

Life changing.

This book came at a perfect time in my life. When this song came out , my anxiety was at its highest to the point where I had su****** thoughts. I was seeing a therapist for the time time and opening up about my anxieties and depression. It really helped me understand myself a little bit more. I really enjoyed it and i’d recommend it to anyone! ❤️

The perfect beginners guide!!

As a therapist myself, I often struggle to find appropriate mental health books for clients that are simple to understand and straightforward. I will be recommending this book to friends, family, and clients for years to come. Thank you for your hard work Kati, and thank you for your beautiful energy.

Really on point. Easy listening & well written.

Excellent points explained in understandable terms. Narration was great and the quality of the content nicely mapped out. Many of the points were relevant to me, and even those that were not, remained enlightening.

Easy to digest, and the second time round was just as good as the first.
I have found myself recalling some of the anecdotes mentioned, used in real life, with a smile inside, remembering where i had learned them, both from the what to, and what not to, points of view.

Overall i am delighted to have this book, and look forward to more writings to come from Kati Morton.

Amazingly helpful for someone new to mental health

loved the book, content and narration. As someone who has struggled with mental health but never quite getting to reaching out to a professional, this book gave me the confidence to do so and how to approach it, as well as understand what I'm going through.

5 Stars through and through

Kati you’re a saint!

I’ve watched Kati’s videos for a few months now and couldn’t wait for the release of her book! I listened to the whole thing in one night! Everytime I felt myself questioning something she said, my thoughts were quickly addressed with Kati saying “now I know this can sound like...” and it’s exactly what I was thinking. Never have I ever come across someone who’s mastered the ability to show love professionalism and kindness in such a creative and supportive way! We need more people like you in the world! Your strong characteristics as a leader are what have made me want to pursue a career in mental health! Keep doing what your doing you are amazing!
