  • The Kirtland Melon Heads
    Aug 26 2024

Down a road in the city of Kirtland, Ohio sat a cabin that has since burnt down. That cabin has left behind lots of unanswered questions, and people are still wondering what truly happened inside those walls. Those answers might explain who the people are who have been spotted in the surrounding woods- the people with abnormally large heads and disproportionately small bodies who are often referred to as Melonheads.

Very entertaining

I've enjoyed most of their stories and like the back and forth of the hosts. I prefer the the crime mostly but do fine the haunting stories interesting too. They do get off topic some but it just makes it more entertaining for me. there was a few times I couldn't understand a comment or two bc it was kind of mumbled but that was not a deal breaker. I will continue to follow them as long as they keep making interesting podcasts.

Entertainment with a side order of spooky 👻

The stories are intriguing and a little scary. But the ladies are always entertaining and funny.

Disappointed

Lack of decent mics, check. Inaudible mumbling, check. Lack of research, check!
I had high hopes, it was a topic I have always found interesting. Listening was a frustrating experience. They could not pronounce names correctly ( a Google search would have cleared that up). Their voices were at different volumes and they both would mumble at times. I made myself listen to a more recent episode to be sure it wasn't just beginner issues.
I was pretty shocked to learn they were adults. This podcast feels like a high schooler reading Wikipedia articles.
