Publisher's summary

Truly evil Gods don’t roll dice!

Mynoghra has put an end to the Demon Lord’s army of RPG monsters for good, but not without great sacrifice. Determined to regain what he’s lost, Takuto starts strengthening his empire with the gold coins obtained from the last battle as his first step toward reaching an Ascension Victory. But his efforts are hindered by the appearance of new enemy forces from yet another game genre—tabletop role-playing games!

How will Takuto’s 4x forces handle the intricate rules of TRPGs? And who is the mysterious Game Master lurking in the shadows?

still thoroughly enjoying

The one bit of warning I have is that there's a lot of set up in this book and it ends on a clif hanger.

Amazing

loved the story ever since I randomly found it in manga form. The characters are brilliant and the added game mechanics add a different style to the genre.

expensive and short

Expensive, short and dares to have a cliffhanger ending I'm done with this series. Btw that is not how DM's work at all even DM's have to follow rules if they dont all there doing is telling a one sided story it wouldn't be a game at all. I have so many issues with this book it was beyond frustrating to listen to.

Recommend skipping this volume

What happens when you add a TTRPG reference in your book without knowing how they work. Usually a bad joke you would find in Big Bang Theory. But when reference is part of and important to the plot, man did the last four chapter leave a bad taste in my mouth. Just spend the last few hours pissed off because Fehu Kazuno clearly doesn't know what a DM does and how they work.
I went from eagerly waiting for the other players to show up to fearing if Fehu fucks up again.
Put simply, this Volume is in desperate need of a rewrite AFTER Fehu Kazuno learns what a DM really is. Until then, Highly recommend skipping this one.
You should never make the plot advance with a "because I said so" reasoning, ESPECIALLY in the most literal sense.

Here to hoping number 5 does better, cz we all know you can Fehu Kazuno,
