After Charlotte Sterling loses her last family member, she moves to Sterling House, her family's Colorado mountain inn, to live a solitary life. As an erotic romance writer, her days and nights are filled with passion and intrigue - even if only fictional. She loves her busy, quiet lifestyle, and she learned early on that real men can't live up to the fictional heroes she creates - until ruggedly handsome Beau Braden arrives to do some work at the inn, and, for the first time in forever, she's intrigued by a real man.

Beau lost his first love years ago, and he's never let go of his guilt over her death. As he nears the anniversary of his loss, he is on the cusp of becoming the star of a home-renovation reality show. Escaping the painful memories of his past to work at the defunct old inn is just the promise of solitude he needs to clear his head before diving in to the all-too-public career. But he didn't count on being attracted to the whimsical, adorably sexy innkeeper.

Neither Charlotte nor Beau is looking for an attachment or a fling. But the more they learn about each other, the closer they become. Romantic evenings lead to intimate conversations, and neither can deny their deep connection or the passion it sparks. They've never fully healed on their own, but together maybe anything is possible.

Charlotte and Beau

Audiobook Review… Oh My Gosh, the people at the gym I go to must think I am crazy. I laughed out loud so many times while listening to Charlotte and Beau’s story. The narrators made them come to life to me, I loved, I cried, I laughed, and I enjoyed every single syllable that was read to me. Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber are amazing. They used the perfect tones, the perfect cadence, and the right amount of emotion to bring Charlotte and Beau to life. Melissa Foster wrote a book and the narrators knew just how to read it.

eBook Review…I love how consistent Melissa Foster is with her writing. With each book of hers that I read, I find real characters with lives that are believable and friends that are so true to each other. Each book is a new and amazing story with no cliffhangers. The characters from other books in the series make an appearance so we can catch up with what is happening in their lives while meeting new characters that we hope to learn more about in future books.

Anything For Love is the story of Charlotte and Beau. Charlotte lives alone in her family’s mountain inn while Beau is running from his home after losing his high school sweetheart. Beau is a man who loved, lost, and now blames himself. He takes jobs that require traveling just to stay away from his home. When asked by Hal Braden (I love him and his matchmaking) to take a job helping Charlotte with repairs at the inn he jumps at the chance. Charlotte seems oblivious to much that happens around her. She is so wrapped up in her writing that she lives in a fiction world most of the time. Together they work together. Charlotte pushes, pulls, and supports Beau while he tries to find his way back to happiness and Beau forces Charlotte to open her eyes to the world around her.

I am excited for this series to continue. The Braden’s and The Montgomery’s coming together is a set of books is a dream come true. They are perfect together and I cannot wait to see where these two families are headed.

Not one to miss...

Anything for Love is the second book in this series. Beau and Charlotte are perfect for each other. This book had me laughing so hard at times. The story was believable, lighthearted, sweet, and intense, all rolled into one. I absolutely loved it, and I enjoyed listening to the narrator as well. Definitely one not to be missed.

Amazing story

Beau and Charlotte were absolutely wonderful together. Charlotte was so much fun and so full of life you couldn't help but to fall in love with her. Beau was weighed down by guilt and Charlotte was able to help Beau rethink and reevaluate the whole situation.
I loved the audible version of this book. Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber brought this book to life. They did an amazing job. I truly enjoyed listening to Beau and Charlotte's story.

***Edit To Original Post***
I originally read Anything for Love back in June 2018. I just now listened to the audio version of this book. What an amazing narration was by Ava Erickeson & Zachary Webber. I truly love listening the audio version/ I listen in my car going back and forth to work.
OMG Charlotte! What can I say about her, she had me cracking up with her blow ups and handcuffs. I found myself laughing so many times. Hal had asked Beau if he could go to the Inn to do some repairs. Beau had a hard time moving on from his past. Charlotte and Beau are proof that fairy tales do exist. What a wonderful story. This book is a standalone with a definite HEA. A perfect summer read.

Chickendales!

Love, love, love Beau and Charlotte! Beau agrees to fix damage done by his cousins at Charlotte's Inn but little does he know, she might actually be fixing his heart. Charlotte is such an incredible free-spirit, erotic romance writer. Her "quirks" are what makes Beau fall for her and made me as a reader fall for her and root for the two of them as well. Charlottes perspective on life is refreshing - from Chickendales to dreamscapes and jars she will make you belief on fairy tales. I also loved the appearances by many others of the Braden family - if you are a fan of other Love in Bloom novels you will love the appearances by some of your other Braden family members.

This beautiful story is narrated by Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber. I had some difficulty with the seemingly, to me, change between narrators. It took some time and I was able to get used to the narration by both but would have preferred either just one narrator or having each of them stick to one character.

Beau and Charlotte are quite simply an amazing surprise - to each other and to us as readers.

Connecting. Sad. Heavy. Loss. Grief.

Beau had experienced a loss that took him far and wide from home, family, and isolated himself away from friends. As the anniversary of this loss creeps ever closer, he finds a way to not be in the one place that created those deep lasting memories/nightmares. On this excursion from home he finds so much more than just a job. He finds a soul that draws him near, Charlotte. She lacks all sense of security, safety. She too has run from her painful demons, but she found a way to make them easier to tolerate. She will always have the loss of those she loved but she found a safer channel to filter it through.

Charlotte was the ray of light that Beau's dark isolated life needed to come home. And for Charlotte he was more real than the lifesized blow up dolls she used for working though problems.

The was light, pain, sadness, loss, grief, friendship, family.

Ava and Zachary brought to life the characters and gave them each their own place in the story. The brought the words on the page to life and gave the characters depth beyond the two dimensional.

Great Audio Book with Even Better Narrators!

Somehow, Ava and Zachary did a seamless job of bringing these two characters to life! I love when there are dual narrators, so that there is separation between the two. It allows each person to bring their character to life in their own way, instead of just having the man or woman narrate on their own.

This story is a great one, as both characters are struggling with their own personal issues, but need each other in the end to help them heal and move forward.

Charlotte has a ton of spunk and isn't afraid to be "different" or stand her ground in any way. That's such a great fit for Beau who is use to people relying on him for everything. Charlotte compliments him so well.

Loved this book and being able to revisit it through the audio book was so fun!

Anything For Love

I read and listened to the audiobook of Anything For Love. Ava Erickson and Zachary Webber do a phenomenal job of bringing life and heat to Melissa Foster’s 5 star romance!

Melissa delivers another story with real-life issues, this one centers on losing someone close to us, how we handle it and what impact it has on our lives going forward.

How do we handle grief and loss? Contractor and soon to be reality show star, Beau Braden has been running from the guilt he feels for a decade. There’s no part of his life unaffected by it. As the anniversary of a loved one’s loss nears, Beau makes sure never to be home and pushes away his family. Beau has never dealt with it and the guilt is eating him up alive.

Erotic romance writer Charlotte Sterling knows a thing or two about loss. Her entire family is gone, but instead of running from it, she embraces anyone who knew her family as a way to feel connected.

Beau agrees to help with renovations at Charlotte’s family resort at his Uncle Hal Braden’s request. This is a perfect excuse for Beau not to be home for the anniversary and will last until he needs to report for his reality show in LA.

Charlotte is a quirky, sweet and sensual young woman who immerses herself in her characters, utilizing props for research. She's as endearing as she is open and giving. Her family’s legacy is beyond beautiful (Snow White’s cabin). She is the perfect distraction for Beau that turns into so much more.

You’ll get visits from family and friends and it all flows beautifully. I can’t say enough nice things about this book. It has it all, angst, heartache, heat and love.

Beautiful ...

Love is an art. It begins with a blank canvas and emotions are the colors that create the pictures. Webber and Erickson are the lens that brings everything into focus. Foster has crafted the perfect photo album. Memories are abundant, but at times become askew. What the mind leads us to believe is not always rooted in truth, but built up by pain. Sometimes it takes a pair of fresh eyes to point us in the right direction. Charlotte and Beau are that new beginning. That fresh perspective. He's a fixer upper, waiting to be restored. She's that lonely heart, waiting to be healed. The heartache is just a stepping stone to point them in the right direction. The depth of a Melissa Foster story never ceases to amaze me. There's always a lesson waiting to be discovered.

Fun and steamy listen

What a concept with these two characters! An erotic romance author that stages her sexy scenes with blow-up dolls. Plus one hunky carpenter turning to TV celebrity to ply his wares for all to see. This story starts off on a fun note but ends with love all around.

Both Beau and Charlotte have a lot to teach the other. Charlotte shows Beau what love really is after his past relationship tragically ended with a death. Then Beau shows Charlotte what two consenting adults can actually do between the sheets for her stories erotic love scenes. They have to decide if their love can last and give up a part of themselves to be whole together or not.

The narrators were absolutely wonderful to listen to.

unexpected love

Charlotte is an erotic romance writer who owns a run down inn. Beau is a contractor who has been commissioned by his cousins to help fix up the inn for Charlotte. These two are scorching, red hot together and both narrators do a great job of portraying them.
