I’ve read the book as well as listened to the audiobook. Narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow who were perfect as Trixie and Nick, delivering the hotness that this couple truly is.

I don’t think I’ve enjoyed the beginning of a story as much as I did the first chapter of Nick and Trixie’s story. Tough, rugged, broody Nick Braden is completely dumbfounded by his reaction to his longtime friend and hottie, Trixie Jericho. He’s got a bad case of misplaced lust or so he thinks. When he witnesses her brother’s teasing over her dream of her own mini horse therapy business, he steps in and offers not only his assistance, but his home as well for one month.

So begins their journey. While Nick is the biggest challenge of her life she’s not afraid to go after him with all she’s got and poor Nick doesn’t stand a chance. I really loved the way their friendship blossomed and bloomed into so much more. This is where Melissa Foster excels. She creates characters that you genuinely care for and pull for, wanting their HEA as if it were your own.

Their story has something for everyone: lust, passion, humor, learning to cope with jealousy and of course LOVE! They go from friends with benefits to a true couple to more.

I will be honest, there were times I wanted to throttle Nick and his reasons for not getting involved or realizing he just might need more in his life than what he had, but overall it was fun watching him continue to fall for Trixie and the lengths he found himself willing to go.

Trixie for all her bravado and confidence was also sweetly vulnerable and so very likeable. She’s sweet without being sappy and adorable without being cheesy. I did cry but I won’t say where or why because I want you to discover that for yourself.

Run, don’t walk and definitely don’t delay and get Hot For Love. Warning - this is probably one of Melissa Foster’s hottest couples, like 5 alarm x 2 fire hot!

A Must Read/Listen Contemporary Romance

Hot For Love: Nick Braden by Melissa Foster is a contemporary romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow.

This is the seventh book in The Braden's and Montgomerys: Pleasant Hill - Oak Falls series. Each book can be read as a stand-alone.

I absolutely love Melissa’s books! They always leave you with a smile. You can’t help but fall in love with Trixie and Nick. I really enjoyed that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Savannah and Aiden did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary romances.

OMG!! I love Nick & Trixie!

Nick Braden and Trixie Jericho are best friends; however, she’s had feelings for him for years. She is the only person, other than family, that has invaded his personal space. No one outside of family stays at his ranch, except Trixie. When Trixie takes Nick up on his offer to stay with him for a month to help her get her horse therapy business off the ground, she is determined to put her crush for Nick behind her.

Nick trains horses and is a stunt rider. Since his brother’s wedding when he watched over a drunk Trixie a year ago, his feelings have change towards her. Everyone knows Nick is closed off to love due to a tragic accident that left two of his brothers heartbroken, but when he and Trixie take their friendship to the next level, the sparkles ignite! Slowly, she is tearing down the concrete wall that he’s had around his heart for years. Once he realizes how great of a couple they are, until he can say the words, he shows her by helping make her dream of owning a horse therapy business come true. When it’s time for her to return to Oak Falls, Nick must decide if a long distant relationship is really what he wants or if he will do anything to keep her with him and have the HEA he thought he’d never have.

A wonderful friends to lovers story! Nick and Trixie are a hot and steamy couple. Aiden Snow and Savannah Peachwood were excellent narrators!

Great story!!

This friends to loves book was a great tender read. Nick and Trixie have been friends for years with Trixie wanting more for a long time.

Trixie, wanting to start a new therapeutic mini horse business looks to Nick for help to start her dream and stays with him for a month to make that dream come true. Nick on the other hand has hidden his attraction to Trixie for a long time but after a devastating family loss has decided that love is not for him. Trixie breaks down his walls and he learns to love while letting the chemistry between them go off the charts.

In true Melissa Foster fashion, this book is loaded with family and their interactions as well as importance to the main characters. The characters from previous books in the series as well as characters from other series make appearances in Nick and Trixie's story letting a long time reader catch up with where the characters currently are.

This book was as great, tender read that I enjoyed from the start. The narration by Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow made for an enjoyable listening experience as the pair did a great job bringing the story to life.

Overall, this was a great book that I would recommend to others.

Trixie and Nick... so hot!

Audiobook Review: Savannah Peachwood and Aiden Snow are phenomenal narrators. They took the feisty, strong-willed Trixie and brought her spirit to life with their voices. The tough, alpha male Nick was made real through the tone and emotions of the narrator's voices. I had already read Melissa Foster's written version of Hot for Love. I thought I had a good understanding of their relationship but hearing the words gave me such a better understanding of Trixie and Nick. I love hearing their emotions and their feelings, the characters are brought to life as I listen.

eBook Review: Trixie Jericho is a spitfire. Growing up with only brothers she has always had to prove herself. Prove that she can keep up with the boys, prove that she can handle herself, and prove that she can follow her own dreams. Nick Braden, sigh, has offered Trixie his house as a home base for the next month to figure out what it will take to start her own miniature horse business. He has no doubt it will be hard to share his house with Trixie since he has been attracted to her and has had feelings for her forever.

I just have to say that I love, love, love these two together. They challenge each other, they push each other, and the trust each other. Nick pushes Trixie to start her business, purchase her horses, and make her dreams come true. Trixie pushes Nick to let people in, open up about his past, and to let her in. Both knew that they needed to find their happy ever after and knew that that happiness was dependent on them being together.

Their fights, their making up, and the loving was always exactly right. Neither lost their spunk by being together. They both stood their ground, opened their hearts, and fell into each other.
