Other reviewers find Dr. Rossman's voice monotone and boring. I wholeheartedly disagree. I suffer from severe anxiety, and have listened to this recording daily for the last four months. I'm now able to go into a state of deep relaxation from the moment he begins to talk. I find his voice soothing and reassuring.

The exercises have given me practical skills to deal with my fears and "What if..." way of thinking. I've found realistic ways to cope effectively with the things I worry so much about, things that swirl endlessly in my mind and have plagued my thoughts for a long time.

With practice, I've found that the solutions I've found carry over to situations as they pop up in my day-to-day life. The trick is making the commitment to solve issues and use the exercises daily even when it seems inconvenient, or when facing the fears you're used to sweeping under the rug is uncomfortable. Realize that it is a process.

My daily life has improved immeasurably.

Very relaxing. His voice is perfect for this field. Damn! Blah blah blah I can't believe this is require me to write a minimum # of words. Now I'm all stressed out again. Must listen to the book again. Damn!
