Great book, A little concerning though

Overall, I liked this book, it has a lot of decent information that I will be using and adjusting to my needs. I don't have much to really dive into about my likes because nothing was really stand-out worthy. I sometimes found that in an attempt to relate the author goes into a lot of unnecessary detail about her own experiences.

I also picked up a hint of cultural appropriation approval from this book; I'm not really sure how to explain it, but I do feel like if someone just read this book they might get the idea that just because they're obsessed or "drawn to" a historic event/place that it meant they were part of the group from that event/place, and ergo it's okay to dive into appropriation full on. Maybe that's not the intent, but there were things said, the way things were said, that made me think this author would be willing to look the other way on cultural appropriation if I just told her "no, no, it's not appropriation, I'm ancestrally linked" and I, personally, don't think that's a great stance. We have to be able to do our ancestral work while also being respectful of others in this lifetime. This is a personal stance for me, though, and not really tied to the information given in the book, so take it or leave it.

Ancestral Tarot

I love tarot and I love genealogy. This is a way to do both. I found this book to be very helpful in starting my journey. I feel ready to move on to the Ancestral Grimoire now. Thank you so much!

I Didn't Like It

I didn't like it. I thought she would talk about the tarot cards and the Ancestors meaning of the card. not her Ancestors life story which is ok..but she didn't seem to talk about the tarot cards meanings at all.... I listen to the example first. so it seem interesting. but a waste of money wish I could honestly get this credit back and use it on a book with better information about the tarot cards... smh.
