I love stories in this book. I'm glad I took a chance on this book, this was a great read.

The pantheon of hoodoo elders

I really loved the care in which this author took with delivering the history of hoodoo and voodoo elders. What most stood out to me is how she spoke with such reverence about each and every one, but also to know the history of how indigenous peoples and spirits have influenced hoodoo and voodoo practices. I also appreciate that though it focused on hoodoo and voodoo practitioners but highlighted other workers in other spiritual practices.

Definitely learned a lot from this

I know this read was pretty basic but I love the updated information on BASIC knowledge of hoodoo saints and witches
