It was ok

I felt like the book dragged on there wasn’t enough entertainment, more action between the different groups.

Great story, but Virtual Voice sucks.

The story is compelling. Virtual voice is horrible, too monotone. I wish her books had real narrators.

Nothing

Too many Battles and fight sequences. It got boring. Needed more of a background story for Emily.

Emily’s journey.

No end to the dark one is too predictable there will be a sequel. Sort of disappointing, but understandable.

Smooth transitions

The book is written from two differing perspectives. Each chapter alternating. Well done. Would recommend.

Something is missing

The story feel incomplete, and descriptions of the action scenes lack strength. I feel like there should be more of a backstory for Emily because at the begining she is supposed to be a mystery it should be more dramatic, and aww. But overall good story in short. Just lacks luster in scenes that should be more descriptive. The cliff hanger is a little boring, I should want to comes back but because the lack excitement I probably wont.

not for me

I gave it a shot. It's not my style. I just don't like fantasy romance. I should stick to what I know. The psychology of the characters is childish & there were not surprised with the outcome. The late introduction of a character that drives the big plot twist fell short.

The mechanical narration.

This has to be one of the worst narrating I've ever heard. Stock to human voice actors. AI can't do it all.
