Amazing!

This is the best Catherine Cowles book I’ve listened to. The story line was amazing and suspenseful to the end. Both Andi Arndt and Sebastian York were the perfect narrators for this book as well. They are an excellent duo. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense with a little bit of romance.

Catherine Cowles does it again! She is my go to author.. It’s guaranteed that I will love anything she writes. This one was no exception! It was absolutely perfect! I laughed, I cried, I gasped and I fell madly in love with all the characters in this small town.

Okay, I’ve said once & I’ll say it again here: Normally, I’m not really into the Enemies-to-Lovers trope in romance, BUT this … I LOVED this!! I was actually so excited to read/listen to it (thank you, Audible, for having the audio version all ready to go on release day, btw! 😊) that I actually put down a series I was already in the middle of to read/listen to THIS one AND I finished it in 3 days!! I am NOT kidding!! In 3 DAYS!! I could NOT put it down!! (The only reason why it took me 3 days to begin with was probably because I had to go to work Monday & today! 🙃) And the twist! My God! It’s SO true what they said: I did NOT see it coming! Wow! 😱😆 The only thing that kinda surprised me (other than the MAIN twist, that is 😉) is that I was SO sure Trey (Colt’s (the MMC) best friend) was gonna be involved somehow, but he wasn’t in the end (& I don’t consider this much of a spoiler since it didn’t happen, anyway … 🤷🏽‍♀️). I was also just a little disappointed that we didn’t get a little Bonus Scene with the 2 main leads about their future; I NEED to know about the characters future! Like do Colt & Ridley (the FMC) eventually have kids together?! Or is Emerson (Colt’s sister) finally brave enough to go on a little podcasting adventure with Ridley? Have a little Girls’ Trip together in ole Bessie (Ridley’s “camping” van 🚐)?? I NEED to know these things!! 😆👍🏻😍

I started reading Catherine’s suspenseful romances about 4 years ago, and I remember loving the suspense aspect of her stories. We used to chat about her love for true crime podcasts, so when I started All the Missing Pieces, it felt like it was a story Catherine was made to write. This one was a bit heavier on the suspenseful romance than her usual stories and yet I think it’s her best book yet. There was truly a perfect balance of the two. Colt & Ridley had a very natural connection, their banter was so effortless. You could tell under colt’s pestering there was an underlying affection and protectiveness for Ridley. I’m not one who likes a lot of suspense, I get really anxious lol but Catherine balances the romance and suspense perfectly. Overall I thought Catherine nailed, the plot, the banter, and the romance. I can’t wait for more books from Cathrine :) Every book she writes is a treat!

Good story and awesome narrators!

This was so good! Performed by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt, this audiobook is definitely top notch! The pacing and tone, and the banter were delivered with such finesse. I would give the narration 100 stars if I could.

I’ve read almost all of Catherine Cowles’s books and I’ve loved them all. I love the small town, romantic suspense she writes but this one was exceptionally done well. The story started off tragic with the missing twin but from there the hilarious meet cute and meeting the townsfolk and the cute pets, I couldn’t put this book down. Not to mention the heroine, Ridley is a podcaster who travels the country trying to help solve cold cases. A very interesting career IMO. The grumpy town sheriff, Colt didn’t stay grumpy for too long once Ridley got into town. I love the sparks these two crested on the pages. The villain (I didn’t guess who tho til the end) was bad but got what he deserved in the end.

It was good but so predictable

This book gave me all the small-town, slow-burn suspense vibes I needed! The mix of mystery, romance, and just the right amount of angst had me hooked. The chemistry? Chef’s kiss. The twists? Had me side-eyeing every character. While a few parts felt a little predictable, the emotional depth and tension made up for it. If you love protective heroes, strong heroines, and a storyline that keeps you guessing, this one’s for you!

I enjoyed this audio so much! The small town vibes mixed in with Ridley & Colt was perfect. Ridley knew she could make it as a podcaster and Colt supported her 100% even through some "chaos" 😉 If you've read any of Catherine Cowles books, you'll love this one too! If not, dive in and get ready to find a new author to love ❤️
