Virtual Voice is Awful

The story is ok, but my opinion is completely driven by the virtual voice. Phrasing, tone, inflection are all way off, I'm not sure I can finish the listen.

For the love of art, please stop with the virtual voice!

I enjoyed the content of the books, but I wish an actual human was doing the performance. When you use virtual voice, it is so monotone most of the time, then the rest of the time it is full of improper intonation and incorrect translation. I had to rewind a few times just to figure out what was being communicated. Like, “IV” (as in ‘intravenous line’) was read as the number four. I might just need to go back to reading the books myself, if this is where we are headed.
