the story was pretty good

the AI sucked..the words like M.O. were said MO touche' was said as touchy
inflection was like a computer reading it which it was..not enjoyable at all

Worst AI reading ever

It’s hard to tell if the books were really good or not because of the way they were red by AI. I listened to them all the way through, but it was just for the background noise because it was hard to stay with the story due of the AI.

Disappointing writing and narration

Perhaps I'm being overly critical, but I'm disappointed in both the writing and the narration. Besides some implausible situations (the only way out is through thick forest where the character is sure to get lost, and yet there is a monthly delivery of supplies by van, so clearly there must be a road), the author lacks imagination and a grasp on word usage. Too frequently, two synonyms are used together (tired and exhausted, busy and occupied, hopelessness and despair) or opposites are used (rugged and frail). Occasionally, the tense changes from past to present (walked then turns). The AI narration isn't much better. I'm is pronounced ee um; M.O. is pronounced "mow," does she is pronounced doze she, and yeah is pronounced "yay!!" It really started getting on my nerves.
