Publisher's Summary

Affirmations for Black Men is a compilation of over 150 positive sayings designed to inspire and motivate.

Affirmations have the power to create lasting change and affect those around you. Life can be tough for everyone, but lately life has been even more challenging for the Black man. We can’t always change our circumstances, but how we think about those circumstances can make a world of a difference.

My hope is that through these affirmations, you come to see yourself as the powerful, strong, creative Black man that you are. Try to listen to these affirmations at least five minutes a day, and over time, not only will you start to believe them, but the universe will start to move things positively in your favor.

Be blessed.

Are you serious?

This was a waste of money and time. First of all a Black Man will not identify with a female's voice (she's black but almost sounds white). The word "Black Man" doesn't need to be said with every affirmation. The Affirmations didn't resignate with my true struggled and triumphs as a Black Man. Please consult your audience prior to releasing something that should speak to their soul.

Eh.

I would've loved to hear a motivational story or some type of star reference. After a while, it just seemed like just words

Annoyed NOT Inspired

They picked the worst person to narrate. Her voice was too annoying to listen to the messages. It was in a rushed tone which is off putting because she starts the book by saying "say this to yourself or out loud". I'm glad I didn't waste a credit to get this book. This is NOT the one gents.

A black male narrator

For this type of male and black targeted empowerment, the reading should have been a Black male with a strong voice, not a woman.

I am sorry I bought. loved the title

This should have been made by Black men for Black Men

I couldn’t really enjoy these affirmations for obvious reasons. These affirmations could have easily been ready by Black men for Black Men.

Trash

Trash! the concept of the book is Affirmations for Black Men so why is the a white woman's voice reading the book. This makes no sense to me.

wrong gender for inspiration

Truly disappointed, but not surprised that the feminizing barrage upon melanated males has gone to the next level. James Earl Jones, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Idris Elba, or Morgan Freeman not available, so a European female sounding voice was the next choice? Thumbs down! Matter of fact, please contact me for your next one.
