Another classic

I have loved the Timeless series for years and this may have been one of my favorites so far. It took such an unexpected turn from the last book and I was so pleased with how it intertwined with the other books. It was such a great story showcasing God’s mercy and faithfulness with so much history, drama and love. Highly recommend!

Narrator lisp

The story was fine. The narrator started to lisp midway through the book and it seemed to get more noticable near the final few chapters.

My favorite in this series so far!!!

Gabrielle Meyer hit this one out of the park!!! Pirates, gangsters, redemption, forgiveness and love - it’s all in there, written in a magical manner. I can’t wait till the next book comes out. Thank you Gabrielle Meyer for sharing your gift of writing with us!

A LOVE Story For The AGES!

This story is awesome, wonderful and beautifully written. The concept of having one character in two settings is a truly creative writing technique. I have listened to all of Gabrielle's books (the second one twice), and love all of them, but this one I especially enjoyed because it is a magnificent love story. And I like the tension and the suspense in not knowing until the very end how that love story would turn out (and it ended the way I HOPED it would!). It really reminded of a Jane Austen novel, one of the world's great authors. All of Gabrielle's books are studies in history, and I think her unique skill is putting very likable characters in historical situations that are important for us to understand in today's world. There have always been perilous times, but people who are willing to have faith in a loving Creator will have the strength it takes to persevere and love others in spite of the cost. Can't wait for the next book!
