Was a thrilling story. So good like all of Laura Frantz stories are. Loved everyone I read.

Excellent!

Laura Frantz has done it again! She is a master of Historical Fiction! I enjoyed the different perspective of the War for Independence from a pro-British viewpoint. I loved the way Leith grew and changed throughout the story as his relationship with Juliet deepened… and I loved Juliet and the way she compassionately cares for others! The narrator, Pilar Witherspoon, is a GEM! Her accents and gender voice changes are amazing! I look for audio books particularly by her! Highly recommended!

Window into the past: Colonial Virginia 1774

I loved the history of 1774 Colonial Virginia's relationship with Scotland 📚 The names of the characters and their kinship are endearing❣️

All together wonderful

Another great writer to add to my list. This book had every aspect , mystery, suspense and God' s Devine intervention!

Lovely story

A lovely story about love, loss, greed, and starting over. Only wish it could be a part 2.

Excellent narrrator

The narrator did an excellent job with different voices and accents and was clear and understandable. The story itself was well-written and pretty sounding. The plot was not the most engaging or suspenseful and I was able to set it aside and forget about it. So overall it was enjoyable, but not as wonderful as some.

Slow at first but it picked up and a wonderful story. I’m listening to it again

A Great New Release!

Laura Frantz is an auto-buy author for me and her newest release was a great read!

Great story but performance slow start

Great story and I always feel I’m learning real history with Laura Frantz. The narration was very awkward at the beginning and I wasn’t sure I could endure. But excellent work on the male voices kept me going and eventually all seemed smoother.

Wholesome story of love, redemption, and justice. Beautiful narration with multiple accents. Super enjoyed both the author and the narrator.
