It was good to hear the unfurling of the secrets as the book moved along. My fave character was Peter, charming young man

Heartwarming and unpredictable

A very sweet story with some historical things that I want to further research. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters and that ultimately saw that everything is by God’s design.

Excellent story

beautiful setting and lovely story, only could not get past the narration…constant mispronunciation and incorrectly timed inflection was a huge distraction. It’s easy to be a critic when you aren’t the one doing the work, but the performance made enjoying the story quite difficult.

Sweet story of forgiveness

The narrator wasn’t a favorite. Her voice was too much of a whisper and monotone at times. She mispronounced several basic words.

Amanda Cox is such a gifted writer. I have read all of her books. and highly anticipate future endeavors. Her research is well done indeed.

New favorite!

This book is amazing! Fun, clean, mysterious, entertaining. The twists are great. Love everything about it. I’ve listened to it twice already. It will be a book I listen to many more times.

Good story, monotone reading

The story itself has alot of twists and turns, and I don’t like to criticize people’s hard work, but this reader using the same inflection for every scene. It’s almost the same rhythm and cadence for each sentence and character. It’s hard not to tune her out when it sounds like a meditation track

History, love, and a lighthouse

Every story I have read by this author has been outstanding! This is no exception. I loved the characters, the setting of the lighthouse with history and faith woven in. Plus the blooming romance throughout, which didn’t overshadow all the other important growth in relationships. I thought the audio narration was good.

Sweet story!

A sweet redemptive story with a good narrator! I love the way the author wove together the struggles of three (or is it four?) generations.

Beautiful story of hope and restoration!

Excellent story that weaves the past into the present in a beautiful way. The author makes the characters come to life and the reader is swept right into the story. Highly recommend.
