This author never disappoints. So well balanced. Opens the eyes to the fact that good people did things to survive against what they believed but helped minimize damage where they could.

The Collector of Burned Books reminded me of the important lessons we need to take from history and apply to our current lives. The story was sweet, riveting, sad, happy and, most importantly, relevant.

Amazing Must Read

What an amazing book! I absolutely loved it! It takes place in WWII Paris. There are just no words! It is full of intrigue, books, faith, surprises and so much more! Excellent must read!!

My favorite author

I read a lot. I have read all of Roseanna’s books. They are always A+. I love how she weaves characters from past books into the new ones. It makes me smile believing that’s what God does for us; weaving our lives together when we can’t see the picture it creates.
Thank you Roseanna. My only complaint is you do Then & Now Estate Sales write fast enough.

Beautiful story! Well written.

Roseanna‘s research is impeccable. It gave such depth to the story. This is a book that everyone should read at this time in our history. It’s not written from a particular ideology, but beautifully portrays the importance of approaching everything, and everyone with a measure of grace. I couldn’t stop listening. It was truly an amazing read.

For Book Lovers

I loved this book. I have read almost every book by Roseanna M White but her spy/espionage are my favorite! I adored the characters in this book and the complexities of their situations.

Read Dangerously

This books gives a unique perspective on WWII: not from the front lines or the shadows of espionage but from the libraries and universities. Thoroughly researched and well crafted, this story perfectly weaves together history, romance, faith, and a mild amount of suspense. While there is absolutely a place for the books that leave you emotionally exhausted after reading them, Roseanna M. White does a magnificent job of setting her stories in the midst of war and turmoil without making them overly heavy. This book has a clear agenda beyond just entertainment or even historical education, but all of the elements are held in such perfect balance that even that does not feel heavy-handed. These are things we need to hear, things we need to read —— now more than ever.

The romance between Christian and Corinne is everything you expect from White. Deep and tender and beautiful. And that first kiss? Exquisite! 10 out of 10 recommend this book. It’s one I will certainly read over and over.

The narrator does an incredible job! She puts the right balance of emotion into the performance and I, for one, appreciate the fact that she doesn’t attempt the accents. If you can’t do them well, then don’t even try.

interesting plot. the beginning was a bit slow, but when all the secrets were revealed, it really started moving.
