A must-have for any ACT clinician.

This book strikes a balance between being too informal and too bogged down in theory. I've learned so much from reading this and my clients have definitely benefited from my deeper understanding of not just the theory behind ACT but also the core processes. A must-have for any ACT clinician.

Good One

The seminal work on the theoretical links supporting ACT. Studying this along with experiencing the therapy firsthand breathes life into application. The workbook: Get Out of Your Mind and Into Your Life is very good at fulfilling much of the personal experiential work.

Good Approach

This approach is simple to understand, explain and implement. It empowers the individual to identify what is happening now, compare that to what they want and make a conscious choice for how they wish to proceed. A very effective tool for living a better and more meaningful life. I recommend highly.

Fabulous

What’s fabulous about this book is that it isn’t just a collection of techniques cobbled together around a loose philosophy.

Very Well

Current and complete theory and practice-- touted as the only book you need and I think that's really true. Look forward to using it with my patients and for my own understanding.
