Deep calls to deep
This book ushered me to a deeper understanding of what it means to surrender. My favorite part was the in-depth exploration of the vine and branches Scripture toward the end. Can't wait to listen to more of his work.

Is your faith lacking in power?
A priceless listen for Christians (like me) who have struggled with going "all in" for Jesus or who waffle back and forth between God and the world. Murray shows the way to a deeper and far more fulfilling walk with the Lord Jesus.
This book is simple in delivery but deep in meaning. Murray teaches using language that's easy to access. Yet the reader quickly realizes these lessons need to be read/heard more than once and meditated upon (in the Christian sense of that word).
Murray shares simple truths to bring you into surrender and obedience to Jesus. I admit when I first listened, it took awhile to get my head around his wisdom because it was so straightforward. "Should it be more complex than this?" I kept thinking to myself. Prayerfully reading/listening to this work will yield a massive return for the believer. Simon Vance is outstanding in his narration (as always), adding to the blessing I received from this work.

Calms the soul.
Calms the soul. The narrator was Excellent. We need a reminder in our daily routine that
we must surrender.
When I notice that i'm trying to use my own strengths I
scold myself and get back to surrender. Listening to this book from time to time sure helps to fight the good fight

AWESOME
Book is hands down a must read for anyone trying to live a life of true devotion to the Lord. it breaks it down in simple context the nature of surrender in spite of our human frailties. For the narration I thought it was great and effective. It's hard for me to listen to people read and stay focused but he did a great job. It has convinced me that this will be my new method of reading so that I can still get my time with the Lord while working my busy schedule. Extremely pleased!
