LOVED IT

My Josie silvers favorite will always be the two lives of Lydia bird but this one had me hooked from the beginning. I wish at some point S would’ve known about V coming back because I’m a sucker for other love stories but this one was wonderful. Will read and listen again 🤍

Perfect winter festive rom com

I absolutely adored the romance and the found family aspect. The relationship between Iris and Belotti family was just heart warming. I think that the topics of verbal abuse was done well in this too. For anyone who’s ever been in a toxic relationship. Overall this was a great listen and the narrator was amazing.

A Hallmark Movie

3.5⭐️

The first 1/3 of this was hard to get through. It didn’t feel like there was really a plot and I didn’t know in what direction the story was heading, so i zoned out several times because I just wasn’t really interested or invested. I almost DNF’d this.

The second half was much better and I loved the last 30-40%! It read like a Hallmark movie. I also loved the FMC, her character ARC, and the story she eventually shared.

Despite not liking this as much as I hoped I would, Josie Silver’s writing is beautiful! A slower book, with a little love story and a lot of found family. If that’s your speed, give it a go.

Unfortunately Boring

I have loved her other books. Not this. The first part was incredibly boring. It got better but I almost stopped listening. The narration was also not great. It made it all seem juvenile. The end was also silly.
Anyway, not great for me.

Another Wonderful Story — so much more than just Romance

Josie Silver writes stories about relationships — friends, family, communities and oh, ROMANCE. I hope this author continues to tell them for decades!!! Each one is unique. A new adventure in surprising directions. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Story was cute. Characters were relatable. Emma’s voice was soothing and each character she gave distinct tones to. I loved it!

A nice ending

I listened to this sample about 10x before I decided to use a credit. I had a really hard time with this narrator and listened on fast speed. I enjoyed the story and the characters.

Didn’t love it, didn’t hate it

Wouldn’t recommend but I stuck with it. I think the word to describe was tedious. The narrator didn’t help.

Gelato and secret recipes! Yum!

An adorable wintertime story. Like a hallmark movie and warm kisses by the fire. I love this journey, it was so heartfelt. The Italian gelateria is my favorite part with the secret recipe and the forbidden love. Chef’s kiss. A beautiful story of found family and friends. A great holiday feel and a must for the season!
