Publisher's summary

Being a teenager is hard enough, but being ripped through a portal from your home to a magical realm is something else. Yet that is exactly what Mira, Jackson, and Sara have experienced.

Their parents got sucked in too, and surprisingly life and death situations proved that they actually did know something about life. But now, these kids find themselves wielding powers they could have only imagined before or in Mira's case that she would have called a nerd dream before. More than that they are the rising stars at the center of more than one political conflict.

Their parents averted one tragedy, but now the burden falls to them. Will they be able to avert war with the orcs. Of if it can't be averted, will they be able to forge an alliance strong enough to beat back the orcs and worse, the powers moving in the shadows.

This combines a coming of age story x3 with the litrpg system and framework of the best selling Life in Exile series. Each one has to walk their own path in order to make Eloria, Their New Home.

Incredible continuation of a great story!

I love the way the author made each and every character their own in this novel. He truly got to know each member of the family and the foreshadowing is fantastic.

Can’t wait for the next book

After audible pushed it back a month I finally got to hear this book, Life in Exile is fast becoming one of my top 10 series, including this book and its precursor. Went in thinking it’ll be just ok, then bam I’m hooked all over again, fantastic.
She’s too good for him, but the heart wants what it wants especially with false memories lol so I’ll get over it, merely didn’t like his superiority attitude. In the end he might be worthy I guess.

Freaking love this series!

"I just finished A Temperamental Enchantress and I have to say, Sean Oswald has outdone himself with this one. The world-building is fantastic and the characters are both relatable and interesting. Highly recommend for LitRPG fans!"

Very enjoyable

Listening to the saga of The Nelson’s has been thought provoking and still to this day is my go to story for driving or doing chores in that I am a energy practitioner and can imagine down to the cellular level.

Story felt a bit rushed. The msin characters all acted a bit different then in previous books with not much buikd up to it.

WoW.

Sean has created one of the best well written series’s ever. I love the progression of Nelson family and how they tie in to all the different parts of Eloria.

Peter does a superb job performing. He truly brings each sentence to life.

I can’t wait for the next book’s.

Great story

I enjoy the books but the main characters seem to gain power way to fast compared to everything else and always seem to do the exact right thing every time. It’s becoming to predictable. Still, I hooked and want more lol.

I love it

I love this series! The second book has been an excellent continuation from what was done in the first book. Not even mentioning the entire first series! Looking forward to book 3, and hearing about the fulfillment of prophecy!

Enjoying this series and family grow

Thanks to Sean, Peter and the team at Aethon for pushing this adventure into greater depths. I enjoyed the new classes and conflicts, though don’t want to spoil. Life in Exile, the first sub series in this epic, is a classic and favorite among LitRPG. The New Home series continues that with a bit more focus on the kids, but the father still has plenty of OP MC going for him.
