Beautiful book

The author of this book series has always inspired me, and this book definitely proves why. The detail in which every scene was written is extraordinary, and the plot itself is quite interesting. Awesome job!

fantastic middle grade

my son and I enjoyed this culmination of the trilogy. plenty of surprises, and lots of fun quirky parts of the characters that shine through. definitely recommend for middle grade fantasy lovers, or fans of the land of stories.

So much fun to listen to with my daughter.

We really enjoyed the entire serious together. The characters or lovable (well, most) and you grow to attach to a few. Wish we had more.

THE BEST PROLOGUE EVAR

why do I say this? I've got a whole a$$ list...
1. Everything has its purpose and ties perfectly into "The Land of Stories" timeline (except Lucy's and Bristol's ages)
2. Colfer made the story incredibly in depth and his portrayal of the Righteous Emperor was MASTERFUL
3. Really made me think and make some amazing connections back over to "The Land of Stories"
4. and finally, without spoilers, The ending was so heartfelt and intricate, yet so natural and sweet, it made the perfect end to a 3-parter, yet left enough wiggle room to have more sequels, just like the final book of the main series.

Overall 10/3, I'm listening with baited breath for the next Christopher Colfer title.
