A magical short story

Great story, short and sweet, with a very good moral to it. I'm glad I stopped to listen.

I would've listened to a novel length version!

Short, and yet somehow feels like it has all the magic a full length story can.

The Magic of Belonging

Moving is SO hard . . . nothing feels right about it . . . even us adults do it kicking and screaming inside . . . so when Jasmine is unhappy at the cottage in the countryside where her family has moved to, it's no wonder that she is unsettled. But then she wanders into the neighbor's garden . . . a famous artist, whose magical painting of fairies has Jasmine spellbound . . . and suddenly things begin to fall into place . . . LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this very short tale of Jasmine and the fairies.

narrator just right for this story

The narrator's soft voice was like listening to a watercolor painting. When the fairies spoke I could imagine the sharp, mischievous looks on their faces and at the end, when the girl wondered if it was a dream, the narrator's voice went whispy like the soft colors of watercolor.
