Written for a younger audience, but a nice story

A lovely story. I listened to this directly after The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, which probably wasn't the best precursor... This book provides a rare chance to reflect on what really makes things special.

The book does an excellent job of putting forward some very deep ideas and concepts, in a way clearly written for the younger listener. However even as an adult this book was enjoyable... I just had to reflect on it before I realised that I liked it.

Very well narrated by Humphrey Bower, full marks there.

Really Great Classic

I really enjoyed this story. It’s so poetic and philosophical that I truly understand how this book can be read throughout one’s life and continually get something new from it. “The Little Prince” totally deserves to be on the “books to read before you die” list.

For me, I found the best way I was able to enjoy the story was by reading along with an audiobook. It felt like I had a bedtime story being read to me by a soothing voice. The watercolor paintings that go along with the book that are referenced so it was necessary for me to enjoy it.

Amazing story from a colorful author.

Amazing. Hidden wisdom is on every page. Kids love it every time I put it on.

Right in the feels!

Since I was a child this has been one of my favorite books! I own many different editions of this book (pop-up, hardcover, luxury, paperback, painting) and I when I saw this audio version I knew I had to have it right away! Despite the fact that I've read this book on dozens of occasions, there's just something magical about this narration: it's quirky, it's funny, it's soothing... Is true that this is a book for kids, however, I think Saint-Exupéry has written a masterpiece that will stand the test of time. Please, do yourself a favor and pamper yourself with this gem.

transcendent timeless ageless

this tale evolves it's meaning. read it as a youth. understood it somewhat as a young man. treasure it now in my golden years. this reading lends a certain sense I haven't perceived before. thank you
