When this work was first published in 1970, it shredded the then-trendy nuts-and-bolts extraterrestrial hypothesis for UFOs in favor of one that linked UFOs to a variety of paranormal and supernatural phenomena that have taken place throughout history. Keel was one of the first to note that the UFO phenomenon appears in different disguises - and that one could not begin to decipher this great mystery without first taking into account its many and varied deliberate deceptions.

Story
Of the many books on UFOs and aliens, this one may be unique. Richard Dolan, one of the world’s leading historians of the UFO subject, has analyzed the different alien types and agendas based on longstanding patterns observed by witnesses. This is both a careful review of the best evidence we have of human-alien interaction, as well as a bold speculation of just who the aliens are and what they want. Dolan’s analysis starts with our ancient prehistory and potential genetic modifications and monitoring by extraterrestrials.

Communion is the iconic classic in which Whitley Strieber describes his 1985 close encounter experiences. This book, which fundamentally changed the way we understand close encounters and alien abductions, is presented here with a new introduction by the author. Do not miss this great classic and the powerful introduction that explores the situation as it stands today—even more provocative and important now, as official sources are admitting that UFOs are real unknowns and that they seem to have something to do with close encounters.

Publisher's Summary
They have witnessed what is beyond the bounds of possibility. Lights sailing across Nevada's desert night sky in fluid and rapid motions that are impossible for even the most technologically advanced aircraft. They have encountered those responsible for the unexplained. Men in black suits, white lab coats, and military uniforms who do not want their secrets exposed.
Brought together by fate - or phenomena - heiress Jennifer Quinn, journalist Timika Mars, pilot Alan Young, and ex-Marine Barry Regis are bonded by the incidents they've witnessed, hunted by agents of a wealthy corporate cabal desperate for unimaginable power, and possessed of extraordinary abilities they do not understand, much less control.
Now, they're on a mission of their own. As Alan and Barry test the limits of their strange gifts inside the military complex known as Dreamland, Jennifer and Timika begin a quest to locate an ancient tablet that may hold the answers to humanity's greatest question.
Are we alone in the universe?
Based on the accounts of credible UAP observers drawn from expert sources within the scientific, military and intelligence communities, Sekret Machines: A Fire Within is the second fiction book within a multimedia project that has become part of the most ambitious investigation of the phenomenon in history.

Nev-AWWW-da?? Really? Editor didn't catch that??
I'm not from Nevada, but for crying out loud, there are only 50 states in the union. If you can say Alaska, Nebraska, Alabama or Louisiana, you can also say Nevada. (Hint: it's not Ne-VAW-da, just like it's not A-LAW-ska, Ne-BRAW-ska, Ala-BAW-ma, nor Louisi-AWW-na.) So here's yet another review to tell the narrator how he royally screwed the pooch on this one. You have no excuse for mispronouncing any of the 50 states of the United States of America even once, let alone a hundred times throughout the story. Just ask your phone "how do you pronounce Nevada" and it will tell you. (... and you might want to verify the other 49 while you're at it)

Pass if looking4 new insight on UFOs from Delong
If your looking for new insights on UFOs from Delong or his group here you will be sadly disappointed. If you are looking for a mediocre science fiction book then you found it. The one thing true UFO enthusiasts will glean from this is the good alien bad alien theme that his group is setting us up for. Pretty slow up until the last 1/4 of the book.

Big fan of Sci Fi and UFO “theories”
Tom and AJ do a good job of blending real UFO reports- from Roswell to the one that shut down an airport in Japan in 2010- they incorporate them and many more into a fun Sci Fi/ action read! I enjoyed this one and the first book.. Only “criticism”- it is a bit “wooden” at times, especially when you can tell they are using a story arch to insert specific details about a crash, or a crop circle or something.. I understand the why but feel it could be incorporated into the flow of the story better at times. Some dialogue is a little forced but overall- a good job!

Narration was amazing! Until.Every.Single.S-word.
The story is captivating and then some. I am impressed with the narrator's ability to embody the various characters throughout the story. He has a pleasant voice...UNTIL..ANY SINGLE S-WORD COMES ALONG! I mean common, this could have been taken care of in the studio for God's sake. YOWZA! I have to turn my sound system's base to max and treble and mid to minimum to even tolerate the screeching whistles this man naturally finds himself to be capable of. It freaking hurts! It's not as if I don't rock out either... dude. please revisit this recording and silence the screeching s whistles!! PLEASE!! 🙏

Good story, subpar narrator
I enjoyed the story from the continuation of secret machines but the narrator detracts from the experience. His “s” sounds whistle and spike my headphones/speakers making it not only annoying but painful at times. More than that I do not particularly care for his inflections that he puts in to the characters.

A masterful piece of vision and creativity. The thought and research that went into this title cover a varied number of fields and sciences. There are so many levels to the story that is told by these authors and the characters they've created, that it is amazing that the story flowed so smoothly.
This title offered so much, by way of entertainment and food for thought that I did not want it to end.

It’s alright but the narrator does get a little wearing after a while. The attempt at a Hull accent sounded like a pastiche of Dick van Dyke’s (terrible) cheeky cockney in Mary Poppins. Story is quite a stretch but then again, the US government has admitted ufo’s ARE real….,,

Story
In the Waking World, Jonas Anderson works as a doorman for the Eden Hotel, dividing his free time between seeing his girlfriend, Samantha Birnham-Wood, and visiting his comatose brother Alan. In the Dream World, he is Poet Anderson, a Dream Walker, a guardian of the Dreamscape charged with protecting sleeping innocents from the nightmares that threaten both worlds. But Jonas remains tormented by his own nightmare - his failure to rescue Alan from the Dreamscape and free him from his coma. Together, Jonas and Alan fought side-by-side against the night terror entity known as REM.

Story
The witnesses are legion, scattered across the world and dotted through history, people who looked up and saw something impossible lighting up the night sky. What those objects were, where they came from, and who - or what - might be inside them is the subject of fierce debate and equally fierce mockery, so that most who glimpsed them came to wish they hadn't. Most, but not everyone.

Story
Tom DeLonge and Peter Levenda continue their revelatory work in a thoroughly-researched exposé that seeks to solve the scientific mysteries of the unidentified aerial phenomenon, the UFO experiencers whose lives were changed forever, and what it means for all mankind. To this end, they have divided their study into three fields of inquiry: genetics and the ET hypothesis, consciousness, and human-machine symbiosis.
