Publisher's summary

Get ready for the exciting conclusion to the Dungeon World series!

With the help of an unlikely ally, Fred has secretly obtained access to all seven elements for his Core without the Supreme Council of Dungeon Cores’ knowledge; Fire, Water, Nature, Earth, Dark, Light, and Air are now technically at his disposal. However, despite having access to them all, he finds himself behind enemy lines without the use of any but Light and Air due to his temporary Core he had created back in his dungeon.

Now, with the assistance of Roady, Ravenne, and Agelstein - three members of the Allroads Government, and Fred’s “bodyguards” - he has to safely make it back to the city before the inevitable deadly response from the local Dungeon Cores at his theft of the Light element kills him.

Trouble is brewing behind the scenes, though, and the Supreme Council is ready to step up their attacks on Fred’s dungeon underneath the city of Allroads. With additional complications preventing Fred from fully utilizing his newly acquired elements, he has to scramble to find a way to not be useless and assist in the defense of his dungeon, his Shards, and all the people in the city above relying on him.

Oh, and on top of that, Fred still needs to figure out a way to save the world....

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling. No harems and no profanity.

An amazing conclusion to an amazing series

I am sad to see this series come to an end. It is such a great series and I highly recommend everyone to sit down and listen to all five books. This book is a great way to conclude the series. I loved seeing how Fred and his group overcame all the problems that were thrown at them and found ways of surviving. The last bit at the end has me hopeful that we may get a continuation of this world later down the road though. Here's hoping we do.

Surprisingly caring series

As I finished this last installment of the DC series, I found myself pondering the caring nature of MCs that carried through. Consistently, we see Fred and his friends always seeking a path of empathy and protecting others. This series left me with an overall positive feeling for the major characters and their world. Pacing-wise, it seemed to me like the climax and conclusion took place very quickly, as compared to the pacing of the rest of the series. It does have a conclusion that doesn't leave you unsatisfied though. Overall, I enjoyed and recommend this series.

Narration by MM remains excellent, as he has through earlier books in the series and other books in the genre. His performance definitely adds more to enjoyment of the tale.

The final book. 6 out of 5 stars.

The final book has arrived and it is bitter sweet.
I was not expecting this ending. I was expecting it to turn out the way it did but I wasn't expecting it to end the way it did. You know what I mean?
Big long battles and Fred trying to outthink the supreme cores and the epic monsters they send.
Amazing how Fred, the MC, has to try and figure out how to save the world with out a genocide.
Brooks and Meili, a grade A number 1 team!
If you like fantasy, dungeons and cores, monsters, saving the world and especially LitRPG you are going to love this book.

Great story

The author does a here at job explaining the world and how it works. The narrator is a professional that males it all come together very nicely. I believe he has the perfect tone for voicing Fred, who is supposed to be a bit askew from normal human emotion/expression as a dungeon core.

All in All, it was def a good that I enjoyed. Recommended!
