An almost perfect ending.

Finished this in a day. How could I not? The storyline was perfect, but given that Evangeline had no memories for half the book, it should have been a much longer story. And that epilogue was way too short.

Stephanie Garber could literally write anything, and I would immediately buy it. From what I read on the last page, she probably has another book planned for the Magnificent North. Please let it be Lala's book!🤞

On to the audio review. I loved it, except there should have been 2 different narrators for Apollo and Jacks. My only complaint there. Wonderful WONDERFUL book!

Very good. But almost feels rushed.

For starters I feel like the book was far too short.
spent almost 4 hours of the 8hr book just getting to more jacks and Eva. I wanted more time with them not Apollo.
I definitely wanted more Lala interactions as well.
Luc??? just totally written off. "he ran away the end" felt kinda bad. The final arc felt rushed everything happened so fast. the last 15 minutes of the book I was panicking thinking there's no way they will wrap this up right. but it did end well. just wish it was longer. had better pacing. and gave more insight to tying up loose ends for other characters.
I'm sad it's over I want more of these characters forever and ever but all good fairytales must come to an End.

I Can Breath Now

I’ve been holding my breath since The Ballad of Never After left me with my jaw on the floor and now that I’ve finished this series I can happily say I’m satisfied with the conclusion. All three of these books are so much fun and whimsical and this is one of my favorite fantasy series to date. I also loved getting to know Jacks and Apollo a bit better in this book by getting their perspectives. Can’t wait to see what adventures Stephanie Garber has in store for us in the future!

Great story; poor audio

Audio quality went in and out frequently and was quite distracting. The story itself was a great end to the series.

Only complaint is that there isn’t more 😭
Loved the entire trilogy!
I hope we get a spin off series in this world.
