Can't wait for book 2!

I was/am pleasantly surprised by this Romantasy. I've read thousands (not exaggerating) of books in this genres and thou it's predictable, it kept my interest. I truly can't wait for the second book to get released.

Excellent !

This narration was wonderful. I loved the story! Great character & world building. I was fully invested. Highly recommend.

I couldn't finish

I hardly ever quit a book but this one I couldn't do it. the FMC is insufferable. She is so over the top about the vampire thing! She never ate an animal ever or killed rats. This had a great beginning and fell really flat.

Surprise

I really enjoyed this book and surprise ending. A place to belong and to feel safe. Finding the meaning of life, friendship and who she really is . I need book 2 Now, please!

Just okay

This book was a good idea for the most part, however, I skipped multiple chapters and sections because I couldn’t take the unlikeable FMC. I couldn’t connect with her or understand why she did or said some things. Her interactions and thoughts had me sneering. Not an enjoyable listen. I couldn’t stand her by the end of the book. With all that said, the performance was good.

This is obviously just my opinion and others may like the story. It’s the first time I’ve read this author, and I can tell she’s talented. I just didn’t enjoy THIS story. I’m going to give her work another try. For the record, I’ve read/listened to hundreds of books over the years and rarely give a negative review. Most novels have something likable about them. With this one I’m at a loss.
