If you've seen the anime this is such a gem
I absolutely love what Yen Press is doing by having the voice actors of dub voice the actual book. I think here they do a good job switching perspectives and voice actors. Will probably give it a second listen. Can't wait for the rest of the volumes to come out!

This story broke me
As I’m sure many others here did too, I started out with the anime. It’s firmly placed at my favorite anime and/or show/movie of all time. I’ve never been one for reading but the characters, story, and emotions that they brought out of me convinced me that I needed to know more. I’ve never cried from reading a book or listening to an audiobook before this.
The English voice actors for the dubbed anime did a great job in this voiceover of the book.
Im more than ready for more.

No matter the version STILL GREAT!
Having originally only known of this story though the anime I was overjoyed to see that it had a auditable!
Still a incredibly story no matter what version you go for (maybe not the manga but idk *shrug*), I was surprised oh how much original content that both the anime and the LN had and to be honest I felt like a lot that came from here added to well everything, what really helped me was the Voice actors for this as both were incredible.
This is a very easy recommendation!

A must read.
This series is perfect if you want a short entertaining read. 86 is a story of healing belive it or not. Upon reading Shin's story it led to some major healing of my own. Thank you so much for giving me that gift.

A bittersweet Experience
I got the audiobook as a recommendation and thought of it as another military type light novel. However little did I know, I’d become invested into the book more than I would like to admit. The rocky relationship with the handler, the politics and how the story seems to flow smoothly but still have some bumps. To be perfectly honest I cried at the end. I’m going on to read the rest of the series and I’m looking forward to the next Audiobook. Definitely would recommend this series.

First time trying this
I wasn’t sure if I would like this, but this was surprisingly very engaging. Only downside is only one book has been done at the time of writing this.
