Very impressed!
Narrator did an amazing job! Author also did an amazing job. It’s full of twists at the end that you think you know “saw that coming, but still here for it!” But then they totally change your ideas! Very good!

Enjoyable and Entertaining
I enjoyed this book, I believe Catherine Ryan Howard & Alana Kerr Collins, makes a wonderful team. I have listened to almost all of available audio books from Catherine Ryan Howard and love her writing style and hope there will be more of her books become available. The narration is one of the best I've heard. Thank you for an enjoyable listen!

Good Book
I enjoyed this book as a good story but also as a way to work through feelings and perspectives on the pandemic. It seems many writers have ignored it and the impact it has had in our lives. The narrator is excellent which is so important in an audio book.

A great team narrator and author
After listening to the joy ELLIS series with detective Ballard I now understand the importance of a Good Reader. I had to stop listening to that series because the narrator was not tolerable. I picked up this book instead and was reminded that when listening to audible books you can have a phenomenal story but if the reader is not up to par A book can become intolerable.
I enjoyed this story and wouldn’t mind a sequel!

Loved it!
At first I thought I wouldn’t enjoy a story with anything to do about the pandemic, but honestly, I became so engrossed in the story and characters right from the start. I felt like I could’ve been strolling the canal or sitting in a coffee shop with the them because of how relatable and natural everything felt. Thought the plot development was great too- love CRH’s writing style. Felt all the emotions on both sides of the tragedy. I traveled everywhere with my headphones just so I could listen on the go. So good!

pandemic murder mystery success
I wasn’t sure about this book. Thought the pandemic theme might be a little much. But I loved it. It was surprising and accurate and thrilling. Definitely recommend this one.
