The observations Ms. Jones makes are fresh and insightful yet they resonate with familiarity.What does Ryan McDaniel bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The narrator captures the mood and inflection of each character in each story in a way that I never would have been able to. The sound quality is excellent.Any additional comments?
I enjoyed this collection of short works. Many of the stories seem to come from Anytown, USA and convey a Midwestern charm. This collection seems to have a "coming of age" nostalgic quality that wasn't sugarcoated or overly romanticized I appreciated that aspect and it added to my listening experience.Witty storytelling and astute observations
