Disappointed no actual murder club
I have listen to all the series and really disappointed with this one. There was no depth to the characters or villains. There was one main (lame) story and one minor story. Both of which didn’t have any emotional connection with the reader. The Lindsey character development was just about her being busy and tired.

What’s the point?
We all know how prolific a writer this author is. Though many are collaborations now, apparently. I’ve read and listened to all the books in all the series and I don’t know why. They used to be good. Exciting. But people like me continue to read/listen in the hope they will return to the original form. I need to stop myself being sucked in! You might like it and I’m sure I’ll probably buy the next one, just in case!

What Women’s murder club??
I have listened to every single Women’s Murder Club story and have found the last few in the series in particular should be called The Lydnsey Boxer Mysteries as the others are either missing or have a small token part. The only time they were together or spoke was at the end of the book in their favourite bar/restaurant. They didn’t exist as the Women’s Murder Club and that was disappointing.
As a cop story it was good and plodded along but it didn’t have me hanging on every chapter. It was very well read, as always, by January LaVoy
Please mr Patterson Make the Women’s Murder Club exciting again

Not what they used to be...
I love the way January LaVoy reads these books, but they really aren’t what they used to be ! For me, this story never really gets going and there was no real point behind it.

Devastatingly bad.
I’ve read every Women’s Murder Club book in the series. I lost the connection to every character I genuinely love and the story line was dreadfully boring. I tried so hard to engage with this book. It was short, proforma and in the end, thankfully over. Extremely disappointed as I look for the new one with anticipation. Very sad. 😔
