January LaVoy’s character/voices

January LaVoy’s character/voice changes always amaze me. So many distinct patterns/dialects/gender consistently keep the characters easily identifiable! I know this book was to keep you guessing on real murderer, but it bothered me that Lindsay/police said it was obvious from Misty’s reactions, on the video, she did not recognize the man in black as being Lucas and was trying to leave, but then it was just like they forgot that. There were several other similar situations that bothered me!

Good book held my attention until the end !! I cannot wait until the next murder club book 🤔

Although somewhat repetitive of similar murder club central events and outcomes and outcome. Still a good read😊

as always I enjoyed catching up with the women's murder club, but felt this storyline was not on par. seemed a little overdone and less action. just my humble opinion.

this is not the end. when will the continuing book be available to finish this story.

Great storyline.

Liked everything but the end. It stopped too abruptly. The rest was an easy listen.

A much improved storyline than the last few books

I've been critical of the last few books because the strayed from the series' original premise: four women coming together to solve a murder mystery. There had been too much side story about Lindsey and Joe's issues. This book represents a return to earlier novels. All of the women had a role in the story although I think Clair is still being largely ignored. If they don't know what to do with her they should kill off her character. I didn't care for the ending which could have been so much more intricate and interesting. It left me flat.

if you like the woman's murder club you'll enjoy it follows the same premise of his other work

Characters are realistic and true to their jobs. I had listened before a few years ago and was excited to see more books added.
