I expected more Canadian content

loved this book! My only complaint is that most of the content is related to Americans, which was a bit disappointing because the author is from Canada. it was a bit confusing trying to apply the information in the book back to Canada when she didn't always cover both. Otherwise I loved it

Changed my life

This book has changed the way I think about life. It also helped me to realize that I have enough if I manage correctly. Especially during these uncertain times I will definitely use the financial freedom to spend more time with my family

Excellent book with concrete strategies

I enjoyed the book on my first listen but missed several of the more nuanced concepts. But after listening to several chapters a second time the strategies and concepts really sunk in and were extremely valuable. Kristy Shen writes well and does a good job narrating the book. This is an excellent book for a someone looking to retire on their portfolio without having rental real estate or other "side hustles." Highly recommended.

Good for beginner investors

I liked the book and learn some tricks for saving money and how to invest but I can’t live with 50k a year which she explained how to get there! If you are aggressive investors and looking for 6 figure or million passive income maybe you need to choose different path!

Great advise and interesting life story

I can’t eat a cheeseburger now without thinking that $12 combo could have shaved a month off my work life.
