Great tangible action items for FF

Redo the chapter on having kids. Need to include financials of having more kids and starting at a younger age.

Awesome book

Great book from financial samurai on investing, personal finance, and other hacks. Loved all the diagrams, tools, and practical advice. Wish there was a little more on private investing (syndications). Also the reading performance was a little robotic - would have preferred the author to have read the whole thing.

Some great advice.

Like many books of this sort, I wish I listened to it 20 years ago. Better late than never I suppose. If the title appeals to you you should give a listen.

Great advice, easy to understand

A great, prescriptive book that walks through many complex decisions with clear guidance. If you’re a fan of the author’s blog you’ll love this book.

The only downside is the author only narrates the intro and epilogue. Sam is a better narrator than the cookie-cutter narration throughout the majority of the book.

The value of the information in this book goes so far beyond its cost, you’d be crazy not to get it. If you’re not caring for your finances with careful scrutiny, you’re losing money. This text will help you plug the holes in your ship, and build much bigger in a responsible, well-planned way. Read, save, grow.
