Unfortunately, there are more suspects than mourners for the elderly town leader. Can Lily keep her less-than-human status under wraps? Or will the killer, who has pulled off a nearly pit-perfect murder, expose her to keep Lily and her dog from digging up the truth?

Enjoyed but too short to pay for credits

I would like to listen to more of the series and would if bundled together, but the books are too shore for one credit each.

Nice debut

Very nice debut. Lily Mason in a new town, solving new mysteries. Fast paced story, with a touch of romance.

Pit Perfect Murder

After a bit of a slow start, this story began to get it’s footing & seemed to draw me in. Being an animal lover, when Lily was adopted by the lovable, rambunctious Pittie, I was hooked. It did have a familiar beginning with a young woman starting over in a new town & meeting an uncle she only recently learned she had, but she really needed a change in her life. She knew she was a paranormal & didn’t realize how hard & dangerous it might be living among normal people. Shortly after arriving in town, she discovers a dead body & before long she’s wondering if moving was the right decision for her. This was a good start to a new series & I will be ordering Book 2.

Can’t wait to read more from this author. If all her books are this good I have a new favorite author!

What a great start to the series. The narrator is amazing as well. The story has all the feels and keeps you guessing. If I had to give a complaint it would be the fact that she’s a cougar shape shifter yet in human form a 30 something year old man can out run her. I just can’t wrap my head around it 🤯
