Phenomenal and Magical Philosophy

Ive been obsessed with manifestation since i was a child. I made hundreds of wishes upon stars, I analyzed my dreams even from my elementary school days, and often pretended to have knowledge i couldn’t possibly posses as it was a fun play. As a teen i had this unshakeable feeling i could have anything i could possibly want, but upon entering adulthood i was overwhelmed with so many happenings, emotions, stress, societal expectations etc…but I’ve maintained the idea that yes indeed i can have anything i want and Carolyn literally in quote says “having is evidence of wanting”. Everything around me is of my gorgeously playful manifestation! All the “ugly” and tacky drama, wrapped into one package. With mainstream manifestation tactics I seriously struggled with having gratitude for some of my egos greatest offenses…being fake grateful was a painful chore that got me nowhere. I devoured this book in 1 day. I have both the physical and audible copy. This is the most delicious philosophy on life, magic, and manifestation that i will ever read as Carolyn is skilled in putting into words what others could not. Its all the missing pieces I’ve needed to understand my raw unfiltered power…and the tools I need to begin processing just how crazy this whole trip is. This book alone…if it was the only self help i ever read would be the only self help book id ever need. I could cry, an ugly primal cry, a bone chilling screech of joy… its insane the value this short book has. What more can i say. Apply the knowledge and have a playful mindset.

Amazing book

Carolyn Elliott, PhD’s work is amazing. She deep dives into why it’s not enough to just “love and light” your way or of one situation and into another; instead you must acknowledge the underlying circumstances that you actually (unconsciously) wanted—and therefore manifested that situation.

She then tells you how to not only deal with that, but also to embrace it.

I used this book both in hard copy and on Audible.
Her use of voice in writing makes it a quick read; her reading voice brought a Lot of fun into the book.

Not for wimps

Okay ; I have read countless self help books and gone through years of therapy yoga and meditation. I was in such pain I would have urinated on a electric fence if I thought it would have helped , As anyone who goes on these journeys know it's not easy changing and healing from our past trauma . Carolyn is a ,wounded healer who asked me to go back to some of the worst times in my life and , Flip them as James Brown would say . It was terrifying painful and ,orgasmic? which makes absolute no since but OMG it worked ,for me anyway . Carolyn is sadistic ,witchy, authentic , hyper intelligent and cusses like a sailor. I absolutely love her . If you think your ready to journey back to some very dark twisted parts of your life and kick butt or maybe spread its legs and you know what , would be a better example; let Carolyn be your guide. Be brave work hard and never stop trying . Blessed Be

Getting into the Shadow and making the Unconscious.....Conscious

This is a beautifully done.... well experienced and highly efficient book on how to dig deep to remove the obstacles to presence, pleasure and play. Lots of useful practices that will help you to “lose your mind and come to your senses.”

An Invitation to Wake Up to Yourself

For anyone who is tired of the same old self help routine, Existential Kink is a book about pulling back the curtain on our own self-deception. Carolyn Elliott has a playful yet well-informed perspective on contemporary shadow work without all of the psychobabble and judgey vibe. She shares practical approaches to unifying our divided will, and she does it with humor and candor. An extremely useful book.

Unbelievable content.

This is a life-changing read. Excellent narration as well. I really can't recommend this book enough for anyone who is truly desiring change and tired of their patterns. Why doesn't "manifesting" work most of the time? Something else is at play. They never told us about our shadow desires! FINALLY something that actually makes solid sense.

Revelatory and Innovative!

I don’t usually leave reviews for books but after how life changing this book was for me and reading a few of the negative comments I felt like I had to leave an affirming one. This book will resonate with you at the time it resonates with you. EK truly is the missing part of LOA. It is instructive, reflective, understanding, compassionate, and reasons with you. If one doesn’t resonate with the book that’s okay, clearly you’re just not at that stage in your life- don’t know why they felt the need to post about it though. This book, is expansive and makes life FUN. Isn’t that the point of all of this anyways? If you’re a prude, why pick up a book about existential KINK? These comments are wild this book is amazing and dense and life changing. If you don’t get it, it’s definitely you and not the book. It discusses the underlying truth that nothing is separate from each other. Sexual energy/ kundalini energy, shadow work, light work, law of attraction, meditation, it’s all one. If you believe you’re manifesting the good stuff, how can you ignore when you also manifest the “bad” stuff? This gives you your power back and transmutes it in an exciting provocative fun way. Totally falls in suite with the teachings of Abraham Hicks and others. This is vibrational work. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK.
