The war continues past the galaxy’s edge.

Far out in the black, Dash and new Captain Lomas encounter the next lethal version of Deeper technology. Huge, armored beings are attacking inward, wrecking humanity in each shattering conflict. The Battle Princes are more than robots and less than human, and beyond their fearsome ability, they carry a secret that could change the nature of human warfare forever.

In pursuit of a would-be tyrant, Adan Kitzbuell, the Realm will fight beyond the known stars, into territory that demands new tactics, new weapons, and upgrades to the very machines that carry humanity into battle, mechs. But victory comes with a cost, and each successive fight leads Dash and Leira farther into a place that is neither known or unknown; a place between stars and galaxies, a place in need of peace...and power.

Here, in the darkness beyond stars, Dash will fight to unlock the true secrets of Dark Metal, all while waging a running war against beings who have one mind and one purpose - the end of humanity. Forever.

I fell into this series because the first few books were free. I then continued because everything about the series is very good. I read a great deal. I always have. I have read many authors both fiction and non-fiction and this series falls into the best I have read. Now, in having said that, I am enthralled with the series - YOU may not like it. The characters are well defined, they actually grow throughout the books. The plots change - sometimes there are repetitions, but overall thigs keep moving forward with changes to keep you interested. The narration is really good! I think Jeffrey Kaper does a really good job keeping you involved in the story and he does differentiate the characters verbally - not an easy thing to do. I've said this before - try the series. The worst that happens is that you do not like it. The best is you will have found another world to live in part time!!

I Love This Series

As usual, another fun adventure for our crew. I've come to really enjoy these books with each release, so I'm sad to hear the series will end at book 15. Still, that's a lot of content for one series, so at least we'll have an epic adventure to look back on and revisit. The characters are a blast and I love checking in with them with each new entry.

great book

Another great sequel to an amazing story. Can’t wait to listen to the next story

Continuation of a great story

I absolutely love all of the previous books in this series but this one seemed a little bit slow and hard to stay interested in. It felt tedious forcing myself to continue to follow along with the story.

Eh!

This is one of the best series I've listened to in the sci-fi genre. Can't wait for the next one released in a couple of days.

Awesome
