Got religious for no reason

David through all the rest of the books has gotten beaten and bruised and in the story, Jesus comes and heals his whole family of all of their wounds. The broken bones, the bruises, the scratches all healed by touching Jesus’s hand, It feels like there was no point in bringing Christ into these books and everything that David has done, those battle scars has just been washed away by the actual Christ. His family is healed because of David’s love for his family? It made no sense. I loved the rest of the book series but I cringed really hard to hear the talk about Jesus and him healing them. It made me want to stop listening.
