His desire for a respite, however, is complicated by two things: the arrival of a mysterious troupe of performers and the appearance of a bloodthirsty creature that kills its victims in a horribly gruesome fashion. Now Errol must determine what connection - if any - exists between the troupe and the killings, as well as find a way to stop the monster before the body count goes any higher.

The pressure of being a super - especially a teen super - can get to anyone, as Jim (aka Kid Sensation) has witnessed firsthand. Now he wonders if he himself might be succumbing to the strain in some way, as he can't shake the feeling that he is now being watched by some new stalker. Moreover, despite his wide slate of powers, he hasn't been able to discover a single clue to substantiate the existence of this potential new enemy, making him wonder if it's all in his head.

Completely intrepid in the face of danger, he’s never shied away from a crisis, no matter how difficult the assignment or how great the menace. But now he faces a task that even he dreads: hunting down his friend and mentor, Mouse.

Having a surfeit of super powers is great for battling bad guys and saving the world, as Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is finding out, but less useful in dealing with day-to-day situations - like bonding with his superhero father, adjusting to a team environment, and coping with what might be perceived as a growing rivalry between himself and another teen super. On top of all that, despite having a serious girlfriend, he finds himself inexplicably drawn to a new female super he's just met.

Recruited by a colleague for a mysterious mission and transported to a realm beyond space and time, Jim finds himself thrust into the company of Incarnates - individuals with powers and abilities so vast that they can do almost anything, including warp reality. But these esteemed personages are plagued by a dark issue, for which they turn to Jim for help: One amongst them is a murderer. Charged with finding this killer, Jim soon realizes the inherent folly of pursuing an individual who is power personified and able to alter reality with the wave of a hand.

Jim (aka Kid Sensation) counts himself fortunate in that his friends have always been there for him, and he - in turn - tries to be there for them. That’s why it is with a great deal of enthusiasm that he looks forward to attending an event honoring his friend, the teen warlock Kane. However, his plans are immediately complicated by two factors. First, an emissary from the nigh-omnipotent group of beings known as Incarnates unexpectedly appears on his doorstep. It is an arrival that, while not unwelcome, introduces a certain amount of unpredictability and chaos in his life.

It will take a bold and audacious plan to get Jim inside.
