Light years from Earth, with little family and fewer friends, Jim faces the daunting task of finding an enemy whose ultimate purpose is unknown and whose methods are extreme. Complicating matters even further is the fact that Jim's much-heralded super powers are glitching, making him incredibly vulnerable for perhaps the first time in his life.

CLIFFHANGER GOT ME MESSED UP!

Yo! This Cliffhanger has me messed up! I'm definitely glad I have the next book! Though, the break from Electra has been nice and I'm not looking forward to seeing her again!

a wonderful story that I loved a lot it was very interesting and very how to explain it without writing anything about the book it was really unique I loved it a lot and the narrator was brilliant it was a very good book to listen to

A Great Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, and found it very entertaining. Jim is requested to attend the Queen of his grandmother's home planet. In Jim fashion, he's in trouble even before he gets there. High intrigue in the royal city is everywhere and Jim is middle of it all. When he heads back to earth, he's bringing trouble home with him. This book is just as much fun as the last one, with lots of suspense, action and humour. Looking forward to the next one.

Loved it easy listening not in a bad way lol The acting is spot on and the story of time fascinating I hope the rest of this series will continue to live up to this standard

Great series, fun and keeps your attention

it's a great series I just wish it was a little longer. that being said its definitely still worth buying.

not my favorite one

superhero travels to new planet. superhero gets involved in foreign world politics. superhero impacts an entire empire that he previously had nothing to do with. This story reads a lot like the John Carter series. Not my favorite in this series, but it's okay.

Superhero and Alien Prince

How would you deal with being a superhero, and an alien prince? When Kid Sensation is called back to his grandmother's home planet, he learns just how different royal life is. He's surrounded by people he doesn't know, and when all goes wrong he's not sure who to turn to for help. Even without his super team, Kid Sensation was still able to navigate his superpowers to help those in need. I really enjoyed listening to how the two parts of his life came together to give the character more depth. A definite must read. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and this is my honest review.

JIM is quite inventive when he needs to be.

Before I start, I have to say, I perhaps am not the normal age group for this type of genre. However, this episode, along with the rest of the series has been entertaining and enthralling, for the pure inventiveness and amazing grasp on technical skills and adaptations, to provide solutions for what appears unsolvable problems. In my generation, the term "MacGyver", would be adapt, in explaining the abilities of "Kid Sensation" to get out of life threatening situations.
I have especially enjoyed the audio rendition of this book/series, finding it adding another dimension to the overall enjoyment of these stories.
I must applaud the author for his brilliant ideas and outside the box thinking.
I recommend this series, to anyone with the wherewithal to look at situations outside our present realms of human ability. Mr Hardman maybe on a par with Jules Verne, and most of Mr Verne's ideas were very outlandish in their day!

The author and narrator have created the best superhero series on Audible. This novel continues to build on the Kid Sensation story and is fantastic, well worth the credit and the time.

Being a Royal isn't All It's Cracked Up to Be

When Kid Sensation gets summoned to his grandmother's home planet of Caeles he doesn't know just what to expect. He's excited to see his ancestral home and meet the family, but it quickly becomes clear that not everybody's as thrilled to have him there. In fact, somebody wants him dead. To make matters worse, the powers he's come to depend on aren't always entirely reliable as his body adjusts to the alien environment .
I enjoyed watching Jim hobnobbing with royalty and learning about his heritage and history on a new planet. The same slightly snarky brashness and naivety that I've come to love comes through as he makes new friends and charms the adults.
If you've hung in through the first 4 of these I don't need to tell you anything more than that this is more of the same. If you haven't followed Jim's adventures in the super kid trials, at school and getting to know dear old dad, go back and read them. They're a lot of fun, and this one will make more sense after you do.
