  • Series 4, Episode 2. ADHD and CBT
    Mar 16 2026

In this episode we are having a conversation about if CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) has a role to play in managing our ADHD presentations.

And for this conversation, CAMHS CBT therapist Eliza Brabbins has joined us to share her knowledge of this modality of therapy.

We talk about how CBT can be extremely helpful for managing various aspects of ADHD, but not all CBT is the same.

We also talk about what to expect from a therapy session as well as trying to understand what exactly you are struggling with and what you wish to get from therapy.

Talking about CBT and ADHD can not be fully done without mentioning the negative feedback in the press about treating ADHD presentations with CBT. With this in mind, our conversations covers making sure you get a therapist that you not only gel with but also and really importantly the therapist AND the therapy sessions are ADHD aware and the sessions adjusted for this.

  • Series 3, Episode 16 ADHD and Pregnancy
    Oct 27 2025

In this episode we are having a conversation about ADHD and Pregnancy. A topic which I find baffling that it is not talked about more often.

Not having experienced pregancy myself for obvious reasons I thought I'd get some to join me who has a little more experience on this topic.

So, I am joined by returning guest....Pyschotherapist Kate Hough, who just happens to be ADHD.....and pregnant.

We discuss how pregancy has effected her ADHD presentations and how she has approached the new wave of hightened ADHD traits combined with how pregnancy makes you generally feel.

Pregnancy is not easy, and pregnancy when you are ADHD can bring a whole new level of ADHD to the table!
