This book was such a fun listen! The story, humor and banter were great, and the narrator did an amazing job portraying the characters!

No one laughs like a Dade reader

Funny in grim circumstances. High fashion, post apocalyptic pottery barn, pizza jerky, and zombies. A doomed road trip to save the neighbors actually saves some neighbors. It’s fun. Read/listen to it.

Steam: Hot! On screen explicit action with good consent but also biting.

Narration: I enjoyed the quality narration except for the not quite singing that I’m sure is a copyright thing. I wish it was more affordable for authors to reference songs and for narrators to use the correct tune because it would have been a lot better and funnier with the tune.

loved Edie and max

I did not expect to like this book as I'm really not into zombies but I adored it. Edie is 38, hilarious, kind but also takes no shit. max is a vain (age redacted) sexy lonely af vampire. dystopic future, zombies, other supernatural friends. hot spiciness and found family. definitely recommend.

Fantastic

I enjoyed this book way more than I expected. The writing and story were fantastic and I laughed out loud so many times! I imagine a good ending in this type of book is hard to come up with. I couldn’t come up with a good idea of the ending throughout the story. But Olivia Dade nailed it! And Joy Nash’s narration was amazing! She added so much to the story and characters. I thoroughly enjoyed this book

feels unfinished

apparently I am not a fan of grumpy sunshine. the main character so many times I just wanted to scream stop and listen. communication skills are a must!

it grew on me, I liked the world created, liked the supernatural elements.

Then, just as it was getting good, it ended. This felt so unfinished. Please tell me her is a sequel. I liked this world overall, and I need more.

Huge pluses for having a realistic plus sized body!

A New Favorite!

I'm buying a physical copy of this book because I loved it so much! The love, body positivity, humor, and emotions made for an amazing story. The narrator brought the characters to life in a beautiful way. I'm in my 40s, and have spent a lifetime trying to love my soft, fluffy body. This book gave me the confidence boost I needed.

Cute and made me giggle, just not my favorite

I liked the narration a lot. The voices were great! The story just lacked something for me. It didn’t keep me hooked.
