A beautiful story

I loved every character in this story with the exception of the evil Brody (not a spoiler). The FMC and MMC were so lovely, and their chemistry was something else. The MMC’s complication would have been more understandable if he had not been a 41 year old man, but the prisons we make for ourselves are always the hardest to escape. Considering this, I was able to cut him some slack. The story about the dog will melt your heart. I thought the book was sweet, spicy, and a little spooky.
