Hence, this is why the many characters compose themselves of the breaking down of not only all they’ve known and lived for, but the reasoning of something that nobody has ever thought would come into the daylight: an apocalypse! It involves those who peer down at the globe and say action bitches! The rest of society hopes to hell that all the barriers, police forces, and military will have unbreakable lines, but who knows? But all will have to compete to stay alive in these episodes.

Majors, generals, colonels, scientists, and even the president himself, who has no execution button to get rid, can run from the predicament of the United States that is infested with a species that reaches all the way to Chicago. And they’ll do their best to reach every other state as the ticker counts down to its last tick-tick-tick and they await the arrival of a plan that may fence a small fraction in bondage. But would the government be so selective in its choices?

The apocalypse does bring out the worse and the best in people. It’s just a little fuzzy at the moment of what the finale will be. Who knows? But they’ll have to think of something! Because the future is what’s at stake.

Another great addition

I only found one thing that completely bothered me....the writers continuing detailing the deaths or zombified children. I find it rather disturbing that he seems to put more detail into these parts. Still over all I found the book good.

Great story with excellent characters. I love the books but this one I did not like the way it end, looking forward to many more. If you love zombie stories do yourself a favor and get into this series. You won’t be disappointed.

Doesn't pull pumches

I'm always a fan of characters who rise above and show that heroes come in all forms. The story was suspenseful, and kept me intrigued. Look forward to reading more in the series.

Better

Only the ONE book in the series and I'm hooked. Characters are relatable and the book is full of action to keep you on the wedge of your seat the whole time.

great tips

I have read the first three books so far and I was addicted before page three of the first one. I can’t wait to read the rest. I highly recommend this to anyone who like end-of-the-world survival stories.

Great book

There was an element of suspense which pushed me to wanting to finish the book just to find out how it ended. Samuel has a certain wit and subtle sense of humor in his writing. Pay attention that this is a Zombie Apocalypse, otherwise you will be in for a shock.

This book is brilliant. I leaned so many effective things from this book. I was actually amazed by seeing how many important suggestions gathered in such a short book. Author did an excellent job. I'll surely recommend this book to my friends and family. Happy reading!!

I think that was what the author was portraying. As the storyline progresses you start to see improvement of him as a human being. I thought a lot of the story was quite humorous. I will be reading more of the series.
