This is a 25k novella set in the world of Solaria during book five of the Zodiac Academy series, Cursed Fates, featuring Geraldine and Max as they attend the party of the century and try to resist the lure of the moon as it pushes them together once more. It’s full of slippery salmons and more buttery bagels than you can shake a stick at, and is best heard after Cursed Fates.

These voices are out of control- but I kind of love them

So, it’s a side story, cute. I enjoyed it well enough, it was just a bit confusing time frame wise. Other than that- love it!

I was so excited when the first chapter started off as Geraldine she is such a great character!! it was fun going back to see some of what happened between her and Max and I'm excited to see what happens next for them!

Geraldine is the BEST

If you love Gerry and Maxi Boy as much as the Vegas, you’ll love this POV peek at their slippery sea bass shenanigans, lawn-watering liaisons, and perplexingly pescatarian predicament!

Seriously though, GG cracks me up and I loved this novella dedicated to her and Max. Short and sweet, but I’ll never get enough of the A.S.S. Queen and her bothersome barracuda!

The Bordeaux Duo have done it again!

I literally do not know how they recorded any of this without 100 takes. I cried I laughed so hard. Thank you for this brilliant look into Max and Gerri. Her Lady Petunia truly longs for his long Sherman and I can’t wait to read more.

Ladies and gentlefae, you have made to the most splendid of novellas. Nothing can compare to these buttery bagels, especially if a certain troublesome barracuda assists with the preparation.

Geraldine is probably my favorite side character & I love that she gets her own novella with her slippery seabass. He is a devious devil for sure. You will laugh your butt of with this one 🤣.

This novella is best read after book 5, as there are definitely some spoilers for what happens.

This series is one of my all time favorites! You will have a multitude of buttery bagels to eat and you will be horny for the horn. Also be sure to watch out for that slippery sea bass, he just might surprise you.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! Bridget as Geraldine is one of my absolute favorite characters to listen to!

This is definitely a book series to read!

Geraldine is too much

In the rest of the series, I found Geraldine amusing comic relief, but she became really over the top annoying in this one!

Waste of time

I really liked the first little novella in the story but this one was dumb, I can take the Geraldine voice in small doses but this was grading on my eardrums, and really felt it didn’t add anything at all to the story. I mean I guess if you are obsessed with ZA and just had to consume everything it would be worth it but mehhhhh.

Meh

This was ok. My favorite parts were the bread crumbs of Darius and Tory. Reading this made me realize I’m glad there isn’t more Geraldine and Max in the book because their storyline is too fluffy for me. I’m not sure if the narrator overplays Geraldine, but either way, Gerry is supposed to be over the top as a side character, but reading a book almost entirely from her point of view is a little painful at times. I prefer her as just the sprinkles on top haha. I did like hearing more of Max’s POV, but it still makes no sense how he’s fallen for Geraldine with how crazy she is and never understanding her sayings for everything.
