Shyla and Angel - a love story

Sure, you may listen and think it's the grossest thing you have ever heard. Sure, you my not look at traffic cones the same ever again.

But at its core, it's about overcoming trauma, and wanting to be found, and loved, in whatever capacity that may be.

So sure, you may have just puked up your lunch, or breakfast, whatever. But it'll stay with you and it will give you all the feels by the end.

Great Narrator! Decent Story.

A great quick read. I enjoyed the pacing and storytelling. It feels very complete. It was a little predictable, but that doesn’t really does affect itself impact. It has a lot of graphic details and the author does a great job putting you in the scenes, but there were a few times that it felt like the characters weren’t really doing anything. My biggest gripe would be the ending feels a bit odd—like one of the characters’ actions feels a bit plot convenient and not exactly natural.

Disturbing yet not forceful

Great horror, while a bit predictable is not the ending that stands out but the tragic and reality of the characters lives, the fact that you can feel their pain, absolutely recomend

Not what I was expecting.

For a short story, this was 'okay'. This book isn't my favorite, but I also didn't hate it. Personally, I prefer books with more deranged storylines.

I wasn’t entirely sure how to consume this kind of book from the jump. It wasn’t until about half way that I realized the squirmy feeling I was getting was the point, and I got to play a little game of chicken with myself haha! “Come on one more chapter… no no no that was it…. aaaAAAA okay one more!” I’ll definitely be checking out your other stories :)

I really enjoyed the second half of the book and how the story came together, as well as all of the symbolism.

Wtf did I just listen to?? I mean this in the best way possible. This book is absolutely wild, unforgettable, and unique. Never a dull moment in this story and difficult to pause. Great narration that is easy to listen to and stay engaged. This book will be a hit with book clubs!

WTF did I listen to

Narrator did a fantastic job voicing this book??? Overall It was a good story, could have been a lot worse, but could have been a little better. Wasn't as "gory" as I was led to believe by the people that recommended it to me, but I loved how each internal story was delivered. The only real issue I had about this was the 3rd person narration...I.E... Angel got up and did this, Angel said this....I was also not a fan of some of the verbiage used IYKYK.....Other than that, I'd recommend this book.
