Great characters with wonderful personalities and great storyline
Great story it did not feel like the gameplay aspect and statistics were filler in the plot line and did not overtake the story. I’d love to characters and storyline and Ivory snarky attitude. I sometimes wish authors in this genre could refrain from using foul language. I have young teenage children who are learning to enjoy RPG and would love the story, but I am reluctant to let them listen due to the foul language

Even better than the 1st book!
Wow the story line is unbelievable! I can't wait for book 3. His writing style is Great. I love the way he tells the stories. It keeps you on your feet Throughout the whole book. I believe hes one of the best Arthur's out there right now, and his stories have a fresh spin that keep at the Edge of your seat through whole story.

a lot happens in the story but
the story pretty much skips all cultivation / leveling UP is almost non-existent and in that context the stories completely and totally lacking I would have liked more progression of the main characters abilities as well as movement with the story I feel like 25% of the story is missing, it's not a bad book but for these type of stories you always want to see the character grow stronger and that feeling was lacking entirely everyone else gets stronger but the MC seems just as weak as he was at the end of the first book he doesn't even go into the White Palace in his mind even really once
